How to spot a fake Varmo site
The only official UK website is:
getvarmo.co.uk
Be careful if:
- The web address is anything other than getvarmo.co.uk (watch for extra words or odd endings).
- They ask you to pay by bank transfer, gift card or crypto.
- Someone messages you first about an order and asks for a code or card details.
- The price is far lower than ours, or the page is a fake news story with celebrity names.
- There's no returns page, no contact page and no delivery information.

What we say plainly
Varmo is a 600 W heater made for one normal-sized room, such as a living room, bedroom or home office. It won't heat a whole house, and we don't claim it will.
Is Varmo a scam?
No. Varmo is a real 600 W plug-in ceramic heater, CE and UKCA marked, sold through the official UK site getvarmo.co.uk with secure Shopify checkout, free tracked delivery and a money-back guarantee.
Is Varmo legit?
Yes. Buy from getvarmo.co.uk to get the genuine heater, the launch bundle prices and the money-back guarantee. We can't vouch for third-party sellers using the Varmo name.
Is getvarmo.co.uk the official Varmo website?
Yes. getvarmo.co.uk is the official UK website for Varmo.
What does a legitimate heater seller look like?
A legitimate seller tells you clearly what you are buying, what it costs in total, how it will be delivered and what happens if something goes wrong. On getvarmo.co.uk the full specification, the bundle prices, free tracked UK delivery, the returns process and the contact page are all published before you pay, so you can check everything first.
It is always sensible to take your time. Read the delivery and returns pages, keep a copy of your order confirmation, and only pay through the normal checkout. If anything is unclear, ask our UK support team before you order. We would rather answer a question than have you buy something that is not right for your room.
What do the CE and UKCA marks tell me?
The CE and UKCA marks show that the heater is declared to meet the safety and product rules that apply to it in Great Britain and Europe. They are a legal requirement for selling this type of appliance, not a marketing badge. GOV.UK explains how the UKCA mark works if you want the official detail.
When your Varmo arrives you can check the rating label on the heater and the instructions in the box. Varmo also has an overheat cut-out and a cool-touch casing. As with any heater, keep it clear of curtains and bedding and plug it straight into a wall socket that is in good condition.
Is it safe to pay on getvarmo.co.uk?
Yes. Payment is handled by Shopify, one of the largest online shop platforms in the world. Your card details go straight to Shopify's secure, encrypted checkout, so Varmo never sees or stores them. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Paying by credit card can also give you extra protection under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act for purchases over £100. Never pay by bank transfer for an order that someone contacts you about out of the blue, and never share one-time security codes. We will never ask for them.
Which heater claims should make me pause?
Be wary of any heater advert that promises to cut your whole energy bill in half, heat an entire house from one small plug, or that uses fake news-style articles with celebrity names. A 600 W heater like Varmo is designed for one normal-sized room, and we say so plainly.
Varmo's running cost of about 15.8p an hour at full power comes straight from its 600 W rating and the Ofgem price cap of 26.32p per kWh. It is cheaper than running a 2,000 W fan heater, and much cheaper than heating the whole house when you only use one room. That is the honest saving.
What are my rights if I change my mind?
Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days after delivery to tell an online seller you want to cancel, and then 14 days to send the item back. Citizens Advice explains this in plain English. On top of that, every Varmo order is covered by our own money-back guarantee.
To return a Varmo, contact us through the contact page with your order number. We will tell you where to send it and refund you once it arrives back with us. Keep the original box if you can, as it protects the heater on the way back.
What should I do if something seems wrong after delivery?
If the box is damaged, a part is missing or the heater does not work as described, stop using it and contact us with your order number and a photo. We will sort out a replacement or refund. Do not use a heater with a damaged plug or casing.
If your delivery has not arrived, check the tracking link in your dispatch email first, then contact us. Every order is sent tracked, so we can see exactly where it is.
