What should I do if my delivery has not arrived?

Every Varmo order is sent with free tracked UK delivery. Your dispatch email includes a tracking link, so the quickest check is to open it and see where your parcel is. If it shows as delivered but you can't find it, check with neighbours and any safe place you use.

Still nothing? Contact us through the contact page with your order number and we'll chase the courier or send a replacement.

How do I cancel or return an order?

Under UK consumer law you can normally cancel an online order within 14 days of delivery, then have 14 days to send it back. Every Varmo order is also covered by our money-back guarantee.

Contact us with your order number and we'll tell you where to send it. Once it arrives back with us we refund you to the card you paid with.

What should I check before switching Varmo on?

Unpack the heater, check the plug and casing are undamaged, and read the short manual. Plug it straight into a wall socket that is in good condition, not an extension lead, and keep at least a metre clear of curtains, bedding and furniture.

Then set your temperature with the remote or the touch panel. The ceramic plate heats in seconds and the thermostat switches off once the room reaches your chosen temperature.

Why does my room still feel cold at a high setting?

Varmo is made for one normal-sized room. If the door is open, the room is very large, or there are big draughts, warm air escapes faster than 600 W can replace it. Close the door, draw the curtains and block obvious draughts and the room warms much faster.

For open-plan spaces or very large rooms, two heaters at opposite ends work better than one. That's why the 2-pack is our most popular bundle.

Can I use Varmo at bedtime?

Varmo is great for warming the bedroom before you go to bed. Electrical Safety First advises not leaving heaters running unattended or while you sleep, so warm the room, then switch off or use the auto-off timer as a backup.
